More One of a Kinds, Hermanos Gutiérrez Sounds & Evan Kinori Big Shirts

it’s sunday morning

Sunday, June 2nd 2024 - Welcome to Issue 16 of our weekly email where we gather 3 fashion, art, travel or music links worth some time on a slow Sunday morning. Make a cup of coffee, find your favorite chair and cue the Velvet Underground… ✌️

“Sunday morning, rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin

Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave”

ONE More One of a Kinds

We’re excited to introduce our second One of a Kind Vintage & Artisan Collection as we continue working on future WRENVEDDER clothing styles & limited edition pieces. Our One of a Kind Collections are available every now and then online or via pop-up events. As an email subscriber, you’ll always be the first to know when and where.

One of a Kind Collection 2 wrestles with the familiar struggle between the comforts of home and the siren song of an empty high desert highway. From artisan blankets made from vintage Sari’s to lotus flowers, roadrunners, thunderbirds and a horse with no name - this collection can be enjoyed at home or on the road. All items are 1 of 1 and available now online.

TWO Meet Hermanos Gutiérrez

This music sounds like the desert and we love it. Period.

This brother instrumental duo has been on heavy rotation since finding them earlier this year. It’s perfect music for chilling out at home or as a soundtrack for long road trips. They have a handful of albums out with a new one dropping in June produced by Dan Auerbach at Easy Eye Sound. We recommend this KEXP as a good gateway drug to their high desert, Flamingo-inspired sound… (28 minute watch)

THREE Evan Kinori’s Big Shirts

Evan Kinori is a San Francisco clothing designer and storyteller with a cult following…especially when it comes to his “Big Shirts.”

Evan makes limited edition men’s clothing and is known for oversized fits before the trends current moment in the sun. His simple oversized work shirt style - aka the “Big Shirt” - is a year round closet staple and a wearable work of art. He’s also known for using beautiful fabrics some of which are made by hand. As you might imagine, Evan is a huge inspiration for the future of WRENVEDDER. This is the story of a five scarf and 4 Big Shirt edition made from handwoven un-dyed ramboulliet Northern California wool… (5 min read/watch)
