3 Reasons To Love Bozeman This Summer

it’s sunday morning

Sunday, June 16th 2024 - Welcome to Issue 17 of our occasional Sunday email where we gather 3 fashion, art, travel or music links worth some time on a slow Sunday morning. Make a cup of coffee, find your favorite chair and cue the Velvet Underground… ✌️

“Sunday morning, rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin

Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave”

ONE Live From The Divide

This jewel of a live music venue is Bozeman’s mini Ryman Auditorium.

Live From The Divide is a church for those of us who love songwriters. Tucked away in a historic building on Bozeman’s now hip Northside neighborhood, this 50 person capacity music venue has been quietly showcasing America’s best songwriters for nearly 15 years. It’s an intimate, nostalgic concert going experience that should be on every music lovers list. Some of today’s biggest singer-songwriters made the pilgrimage to Bozeman to play small shows at Live From The Divide on their way up. Grab a ticket for one of their Summer shows and support original live music. Long live the songwriter.

TWO The Bridger Mountains

It’s officially the “Sound of Music” time of year in the Bridger Mountains north of Bozeman.

Bozeman is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges but the Bridgers have a special place in our hearts. With high desert foothills to the West, lush meadows to the East and rugged high alpine lakes framed by jagged ridge-lines on top, the Bridgers are our kaleidoscope colored Summer playground. If you’re visiting from the west side of the range, don’t miss the Truman Gulch and Johnson Canyon trails for hiking, trail running and mountain biking. On the east side, check out the Summer activities at Bridger Bowl or Crosscut Mountain Sports Center and the classic Fairy Lake / Sacagawea Peak trails. And, for the adventure slash “type 2 fun” seekers, plan a hike or trail run (or join the race) along the iconic, 20 mile Bridger Ridge from Fairy Lake to the “M” trail near Bozeman. Check out this video chronicling the annual Bridger Ridge Run by our friend and local filmmaker, Eric Bendick, for some alpine inspiration. It might just be the fountain of youth… (7 minute watch)

THREE BIG ART POP UP

Come celebrate Montana artists and makers with us. ✌️

Our first BIG ART POP UP in Bozeman is this Saturday, June 22nd from 10AM to 2PM. This is something we’ve wanted to do at our house as a family for years now. Stoked to finally make it happen. Come up for a bit or hang for the whole time, bring your friends and family and check out the vintage horse trailer we are converting into a WRENVEDDER pop up store. Clothing, hats, one-of-a-kind and vintage finds, organic skincare, fresh flowers, coffee, snacks & music - just a few of our favorite things all designed, curated and made by our talented friends.

We look forward to seeing you next weekend.

6500 East Baseline Road, Bozeman, MT. See map below for parking info.
